Kraljičina plaža (Queen´s Beach)

The longest and most popular beach in Nin is the 3 km long sandy "Queen Beach" (Kraljicina Plaza) that stretches out along the western end of the lagoon expanding towards Sabunike. This sandy beach's name was coined by the wife of the first Croatian king, who, according to legend, often and gladly sought recreation here. This beautiful sandy beach is considered to be the most beautiful one in the world by the American Travel Channel. The sandy texture, the very shallow drop of the shores into the sea and the high water temperatures provide almost all of the ideal conditions for any vacation and not only for small children. A volleyball court and several beach bars offer variety for adults. At the same time, one can also bathe in the mud that Nin is famous for. The beach is equipped with showers and can be easily reached on foot or by car.
