To the southeast of the city center is the most popular beach - the Glavna Gradska plaza Lisanj – situated below the hotel of the same name. Supervised swimming on the beach is located south of the small peninsula that forms the harbor bay. It is only a 1.5 km walk from the old town to the beach. The shallow sloping pebbled beach with rocks and sand is equipped with showers, changing rooms and toilets. Due to its cleanliness, the beach proudly bears the "Blue Flag". A beach volleyball court, a trampoline and pedal boat rentals provide variety - as well as a beach bar and café. The pine trees standing around in some places provide natural shade.
