The 800 meter long, barrier-free city beach of Prosika is a popular seaside resort in Pag sitting on the north side of the narrow peninsula that extends to the center and also separates the harbor from the open sea (650 meters southwest). Here you can swim close to the center, surrounded by the old town houses and the barren countryside of Pag. The pebbled beach has finely- pebbled sections on land while the seabed is mostly sandy. Due to its shallow shores leading gently into the sea, Prosika is extremely popular with families and non-swimmers. Only after going about 80 meters into the sea, does it reach a depth of 1 meter. In 2012 the beach was awarded the "Blue Flag", what caused its popularity to increase even more. Services like pedal boat rentals and a water park are available, as well as shops and a beach café. Showers, changing rooms and toilets as well as parasol and lounge chair rentals complete the whole package.
