The South Beach is referred to by locals as "Dječje Igralište" (children's playground) and is very accessible via the street of Aleja maslina (Avenue of Olives). This beautiful pebbled beach is one of the most popular beaches in the Fazana area. As already indicated by the Croatian name, there is a large children's playground on the beach. Adults can also work up a sweat on the nearby sports fields by playing volleyball, beach volleyball and bocce. The shore falls very flatly into the sea which is why it is so popular for families, especially those with small children. Directly on the beach there are umbrella and beach chair rentals and public showers. The beach is lined by a green belt of vegetation which also functions as a lawn- providing many shade-giving trees. Various bars provide swimmers with small refreshments, whilst also being wheelchair accessible.

The descriptions on the page are subject to constant changes. We always look forward to interesting comments, which help to keep the beach descriptions up to date.
