Božava

In the northwestern region of the Dalmatian Island of Dugi Otok, near the Croatian town of Zadar, is the well-developed tourist town of Bozava - the second largest tourist center on the island. With its 120 inhabitants, this former Dalmatian fishing village exudes an enticing Mediterranean charm as well as having a well-developed marina, which is often visited by boat owners- making it the central meeting point in Bozava. There are several restaurants and bars where you can wrap up the perfect day with local cuisine and Croatian wine. 

Many tourists are attracted to this part of the island because of the many modern hotels and apartments in Bozava. In addition, it is also located very closely to the most beautiful beach on Dugi Otok - the sandy Sakarun Beach. The beaches in Bozava are either rocky, pebbled or consist of concrete bathing plateaus. The landscape here impresses guests with its unspoiled nature and rugged coastline, ideal for romantic walks. Dogs are allowed on the wild coastline.
