Brgulje

Brgulje is a quiet village on the Island of Molat. The Molat Island is situated about 30 km northwest of the coastal town of Zadar in the popular area of North Dalmatia. The Brgulje resort has two restaurants serving authentic regional cuisine and is often visited by boat owners who moor in the small marina. The Bay of Brgulje is naturally sheltered behind a long promontory. Regular ferries operate from the port in Brgulje to Zadar and the Island of Ist which connects in the north to the Molat Island and is only separated from it by the Zapuntel Channel. Just before the bay, there lies a small wooded island - a nice destination for romantic walks and beach visits. Between Brgulje and Molat, at the southern tip of the island, there are several small sandy coves that can only be reached via the waters.
