Brodarica

Only about 6 km from Sibenik on Krka, Brodarica resort can almost be called a suburb of the historic town. This coastal town of 3,000 inhabitants is naturally protected by small offshore islands - the island Krapanj belongs to the municipality -  and is nestled in a picturesque setting between the Adriatic Sea and the fascinating river landscape around Krka which is known for its wild waterfalls. The rustic stone houses in the historical part of the town stretch out towards the coast. The coast extends over a total of 5 km from the Solaris beach to the Morinj Bay in the southeast, where fishers enjoy a rich stock of fish.
Off the coast lies the culturally and historically interesting island of Krapanj, the smallest and most densely populated island in the Adriatic. With a terrain height of only 1.5 meters above sea level, it is also the lowest lying island in the Mediterranean. The charming harbor of Broda Rica makes for an ideal starting point for a boat tour to the island of Krapanj, which is famous for its legendary sponge divers. Brodarica is ever so much ideal for an active holiday providing the possibilities for many excursions, such as to Krka National Park, to the nearby islands, or for biking and hiking in the area.
This beach stretching along the coast to the Morinj Bay, lying to the south, guarantees rest and relaxation. Dogs are tolerated on the beach towards the north.
