Jakišnica

In the small municipal of Luna, the "finger" of the island of Pag, sits the peaceful settlement of Jakisnica. The peaceful village has settled in the bay, which displays a powerful panorama with its rugged coastline to the south. The jagged cliffs imposingly tower out of the crystal clear waters of the turquoise Adriatic Sea. Here and there you will come across hidden beautiful pebbled beaches, ideal for a refreshing dunk in the Kvarner Bay. Visitors can pursue full relaxation during their holidays in this quiet environment with modern apartment houses and some smaller inns. Some shops and good restaurants are also in Jakisnica. The coast is a great place to explore by bike or on foot because the distances on the narrow peninsula in the northwest region of Pag are not too big. Also worth a trip, is a dive to the underwater world of Jakisnica. A nearby diving center will provide you with the equipment and knowledge. Those who can not dive should absolutely get the equipment for snorkeling- after all, the sea is crystal clear in Jakisnica and not as crowded as in other places of the island.
