Kožino

On the northern Dalmatian coast between Petrcane and Diklo and lying 7 km from the port city of Zadar is the resort of Kozino. The former fishing village offers visitors modern apartments and villas alongside an intimate atmosphere with Mediterranean charm, clean seas and hospitable inhabitants, of which there are 500 in Kozino.

The village is characterized by typical Dalmatian stone buildings, shops and restaurants as well as occasional historic buildings, such as the Church of Sveti Mihovil. The inhabitants mainly subsist from agriculture and tourism. Around Kozino there are many vineyards and olive groves which significantly contribute to the idyll of this region. Away from through traffic of the coastal road, you will find peace and relaxation here. The surrounding area is ideal for biking, relaxing walks or hikes. Off the coast lure, inter alia, the Islands of Ugljan and Rivanj- great boat destinations.

Further south you will find the Kornati Archipelago which is home to the national park of the same name. Boaters and nature lovers alike are enthusiastic about the park because of its impressive landscape - both on land and underwater. Especially the Paklenica National Park on the mainland and to the northeast of the village promises visitors an interesting discovery tour. The crystal-clear sea is especially idyll for diving and snorkeling.
