Mandre

The small tourist town Mandre is situated on the western side of the island of Pag, about halfway between the main city of Pag and the popular resort of Novalja Pag. From the rocky coast of Mandres you can get a nice view of the offshore islands of Skrda and Maun: both great destinations for a boat tour. The inhabitants of the settlement live mostly from tourism. Since Mandre is still a relatively young town on the island of Pag, modern apartments and houses characterize the panorama nestled in the midst of the Mediterranean hillside.

The  residents in this town in the Kvarner Bay also pursue fishing and agriculture. Those craving a fishing vacation on their own in Mandre, can travel to one of the old fishermen's huts that exist on the coast. In addition, the region of Mandre has interesting hiking and biking trails, as well as opportunities for snorkeling and diving in the crystal clear Adriatic Sea. Along the promenade there are always restaurants and cafés that invite you to linger and enjoy the sea view. It is worth it to spend a few hours on the coast of Mandre, especially on the Mala Mandre beach which has been awarded with a "Blue Flag". Around the tranquil village there are more idyllic coastlines with beautiful beaches.
