Milna (Hvar)

The village of Milna lies in a quiet corner on the southern coast of the Island of Hvar. This Mediterranean resort is just a few kilometers from the island's main city, Hvar, and is an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday. The town of Milna developed from an old settlement, Malo Grablje, which lies about 2 km inland. In the 1960s, some residents decided to move to the coast and founded the village known as Milna today.

The modern town directly on the sea is characterized by new buildings, but you can still admire the typical Dalmatian architecture in Malo Grablje. Walking and cycling paths connect the two settlements. In the newly built parts of the town, there are no special attractions. In Malo Grablje, however, you can visit the summer home of Hvar's noble Ivanic family, who built the residence in the 17th century. For anyone interested, a trip to the neighboring town of Hvar is recommended.

Milna offers its visitors its two central, pebbled beaches, a wide selection of gastronomic offers and some some leisure activities. The latter can be especially found in the port and coastal areas.
