Nevidane is a small coastal village on the mainland-facing side of the sun-drenched Pasman Island, not far from Zadar. Nevidane is located about 10 km away from the ferry port town of Tkon where there is a ferry operating to Biograd on the mainland and there is a bridge connecting to Ugljan, the neighboring island to the north. The southern region of Nevidane towards the southwestern coast is mostly wooded and covered by typical Mediterranean vegetation- perfect for walking and cycling.

The approximately 390 inhabitants in Nevidane are very proud of their long fishing tradition. According to legend, there was once a resident woman who danced and sang in honor of her husband, who as a sailor and fisherman was gone for long stretches of time at sea. Even today, the residents maintain their vibrant culture and celebrate these traditions at various events during the summer.

In addition, there are beautiful beaches in and around Nevidane that attract many tourists in the summer. When you want some variety during your beach holiday in Nevidane, head about 1 km southeast to enjoy a cultural and historical monument. The Church of the Archangel St. Michael was built in 1018 and gets its charm through its medieval and Gothic elements. Also worth seeing is the single aisled parish Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which was built in 1899. Other cultural monuments in the town include the Church of Our Lady of Health and the early Christian Church of St. Martin.
