Plat

Plat is another small coastal town near Dubrovnik, which holidaymakers from all over Europe flock to in the summer months. Plat is located in the far south of Župa dubrovačka between Mlini and Cavtat. It lies approximately 18 km away from Dubrovnik. The subtropical vegetation with cypress and pine trees, the mild climate and the scenic hillside come together to give the place its own unique charm. Both cities are easily accessible via a local bus service, which runs at regular intervals. Plat also has two designated nudist beaches near the Plat and Orphee Hotels. In Plat, there are, in addition to some hotels and many private accommodations, holiday apartments and houses for rent. These usually sit atop the hills and provide a wonderful sea view.
