Prvić Šepurine

Prvic Sepurine is a town with approximately 230 residents living on the 3.1 km long and 1.35 km wide island of Prvic, which lies before the mainland coast between Vodice and Sibenik, and fascinates visitors with its harmonious cityscape displaying Dalmatian architecture in the Mediterranean countryside. As the coastal town of Prvic Sepurine stretches out across the northern tip of the island, its only neighbor, the town of Prvic Luka, spreads out over the southern portion of the island. Both towns are under protection as cultural heritage sites. The historical monuments on the island are, therefore, very appealing. One of these monuments, the Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, towers over the red-tiled roofs of the village of Prvic Sepurine. It dates back to the year 1479. As in many places along the Dalmatian coast, the inhabitants subsist largely from fisheries and agriculture, so you should definitely take the chance to taste the local delicacies in one of the traditional restaurants and taverns. In Prvic Sepurine you will have a holiday full of absolute relaxation and peace. This is because the island is still very original and not yet explored by tourists. One reason for this is the lack of traffic due to Prvic being a motorization free island. Only the fire department has vehicles. Far from the street noise and mass tourism, you will also find it much easier to relax on the beaches around Prvic Sepurine.
