Seget Vranjica

The small tourist town of Seget Vranjica is located 6 km west of the central Dalmatian coastal town of Trogir. The tranquil resort is located on the mainland, at the exact spot where the Adriatic Sea makes its way between the island of Ciovo and the Vinisce Peninsula. The southern region of Seget Vranjica has formed on the peninsula, while the northern part of the village is enclosed by the Sasina Bay. Seget Vranjica presents itself as a cozy Mediterranean village: along the pine and palm tree lined streets there are well developed holiday apartments and houses that reach up into the hilly hinterlands, where wine and olive groves thrive. The restaurants at this resort prepare freshly caught fish and cook seafood in accordance to local recipes, which are served accompanied by a glass of local wine.

The little Marina of Seget is, like in many other towns, the center of the village and also the starting point for day trips to nearby islands such as Ciovo, Solta or Drvenik. You can even find idyllic destinations within the city limits, such as at the nearby lying Car Campsite. The pine forest there offers scenic cycling and walking trails all in the shade of the trees. If you want to enjoy the sunny skies, you can find many beautiful places at the beaches of Seget Vranjica.
