Simuni, which is mainly known amongst boaters and sailors for its well-developed and protected marina, lies on the west coast of the island of Pag. This marina is located in the Maun Channel, a small but deeply cut bay north of the center of Simuni. In the year-round open marina with about 220 berths, water boaters will find everything they need: slipways, a workshop, toilets and a restaurant. Boats can be refueled in the not so distant Marina of Novalja.

Just a few kilometers off the coast of Simuni are the small islands of Skrda and Maun, which are certainly worth a visit. Further north, there is the beautiful island of Losinj. In Simuni there are some restaurants (a fish Restaurant and a pizzeria) and smaller supermarkets where you can buy everything you need. Novalja and Pag are only about 12 miles away, so you can easily go there for shopping. Culture buffs will also make the trip to the two larger cities to see the sights. The coast of Simuni is largely barren and rocky, but overgrown with some trees. At the campsite south of the center, you will find a long beach to relax on.
