Smokvica Krmpotska

Smokvica Krmpotska is a quiet residential area 10 km south of the coastal town of Novi Vinodolski on the east coast of the Kvarner bay. South of the peaceful town, in which around 50 people live, is the former Senj pirate's nest, whose sights are worth a day trip. The inhabitants of Smokvica Krmpotska have built their stone houses and modern villas on a small slope where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the sea. The island of Krk dominates this panorama, which is located a few miles off the coast of Smokvica Krmpotska. It is possible to dock across the way or to head north with your own boat. South of the city Kraljevica, there is a bridge connecting the Croatian mainland with the island of Krk, so that you can quickly arrive at the beautiful towns of the isle. On other days, it is worthwhile to explore the surrounding area. There are beautiful paths that can be explored by bike or on foot.
