UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage

Croatia is not only considered scenically and geographically attractive, but is a unique gem on the Adriatic. The checkered history of the country and different influences from East and West have contributed in creating Croatia's unique cultural diversity and uniqueness that characterizes and enriches everyday life. No wonder then that many typical, regional features such as songs, dances and celebrations are now under UNESCO protection as being intangible world cultural heritage.
