Bibinje

Located about 8 km south of the Croatian town of Zadar is the town of Bibinje with its 3,900 inhabitants which largely attracts active tourists, boaters and beach lovers to the Adriatic coast. A leisurely stroll along the 4 km long promenade will inevitably lead you to the Marina of Dalmacija, currently the largest marina on the Croatian Adriatic coast with 1,200 berths at sea and 500 berths on land. This is the starting point for nautical excursions to the offshore islands of Ugljan, Pasman and Iz- to just name a few. In the summer, many folk festivals, fishermen nights and concerts take place in Bibinje and provide musical and cultural entertainment as well as regional specialties. In the evenings you can enjoy fish specialties in one of the local taverns or take a romantic stroll along the promenade.

Cultural and architectural highlights include the churches of Sveti Rok from the 16th century and the 8^th century Sveti Petar (Saint Peter), the Church of the Martyrdom of John the Baptist with its semicircular apse as well as the Trg. Dr. Franje Tudmana Square in the upper district - a meeting point for locals and visitors during the day.

Bibinje has many beaches and romantic bays. There are no official dog beaches, but they are tolerated on the beaches in Bibinje in the early hours of the morning. Dog owners can additionally swerve off to the wild beaches between Sukosan and Sveti Petar.
