2km northwest of the city center in the Vela Luka Bay lies a pebbled and rocky beach sharing the bay's name. Across the bay adults and children can stand comfortably, making the Vela Luka beach especially popular with small children and non swimmers. The coast is lined by tall trees where much shade can be found. Sun loungers and parasols can be rented. Among the trees there are toilets and changing rooms. The dive center as well as the Bili Rat Beach are not far away. Here you can rent various water sports equipment.
